Fudge lovers, we have some exciting news! Our much-anticipated ‘New Year, New Flavour’ competition has crowned its winner – and it’s a game-changer. Say hello to Cherry White Chocolate Fudge, the delicious creation from our York team that took the top spot in our 2025 contest.
A Celebration of Creativity & Flavour
Every year, our six Fudge Kitchen shops battle it out to create a brand-new, showstopping fudge flavour. This year’s brief was simple: ‘Wow with Fudge’ – and our teams did not disappoint! Among the twelve innovative entries were exciting flavours like Cookies and Cream, Baklava, Strawberry Cobbler, and St. Clement’s Cheesecake.
The competition was fierce, but after much tasting and deliberation, an esteemed panel of judges – including food experts, a craft brewer, a food photographer, and a flavour specialist – selected the winner. Cherry White Chocolate Fudge stole the show with its vibrant colour, bold cherry flavour, and irresistible white chocolate coating.
Why Cherry White Chocolate Won
Our judges were blown away by the York team’s creation, with comments including:
“Visually appealing and really hits the ‘Wow’ brief!”

The York team was thrilled with their victory, saying: “We’re so happy that our Cherry White Chocolate resonated with the judges this year – it really packs a flavour punch whilst also delivering the creamy texture Fudge Kitchen is famous for.”
Meet the Runners-Up
While Cherry White Chocolate stole the crown, two other incredible flavours made it to the podium:
🥈 2nd Place: Cookies & Cream Fudge (Bath) – A rich and creamy delight that captures the essence of the beloved classic.
🥉 3rd Place: Orange Creamsicle Fudge (Windsor) – A vibrant fusion of smooth vanilla cream and zingy citrus.
When & Where to Get It
Cherry White Chocolate Fudge will be available from Saturday, 8th March, both in our shops and online for £7 per slice. To make the launch even sweeter, all proceeds from the first weekend’s sales will be donated to Refuge, the UK’s largest domestic abuse charity for women, in honour of International Women’s Day.
