And the Winner is ….

And the Winner is ….

Awards are not just an opportunity to consume our body weight in canapés. They are an industry validation, a rubber stamp by respected bodies that says: “You’re doing something right”. And more importantly they are a hearty hand shake to our tremendous family of fudgeteers, all equally contributory to the quality of our product and success of the brand.

This year Fudge Kitchen is on an Awards roll …

We had only just finished nailing up the most four recent Great Taste Award certificates, when our Bath shop bagged the Bath Good Food Best Confectionery Award.

Manager Ian and his dream team are to be particularly congratulated given that, from over 12,000 nominations, winners were voted for by the Bath public; showing what a special place Fudge Kitchen occupies in the community. Very proud parents here at FKHQ!

Meanwhile our Canterbury shop, fresh from being voted #1 Shopping Experience by Trip Advisor, discovered that they have also made the Perry’s Exceptional Business Awards’ shortlist, awarded for outstanding contributions to Kent. Best of luck to Mikey and the Canterbury crew for a 9th November announcement.

And then there’s the 2017 Food Manufacture Excellence Awards, to be announced on 1st November. Three years ago, we were thrilled to win the Ambient Manufacturer of the Year here: one of the Oscars of the Food and Drink industry. This year, we are back on the same shortlist, but also in two further categories: Best New Use of Ingredients for our trailblazing sugar free brittles and caramels and the Judges’ Star Performer Award for …. being stars? Surely one of them has to come off!
